Almost Ours is about the feeling of belonging to a time you never quite lived in.
It’s about old stories, ancient songs playing in the background, clothes and customs passed down until they quietly become part of you.
This issue brings both generations into the same space: those who remember, and those who inherit.
We’re looking for work that looks back through memory and history
That shows how that past is being reshaped in the present.
