Cultureword has an exciting new call out for queer self-expression!

We are looking for LGBTQ+ writers to submit poems to our latest zine on MOVEMENT. MOVEMENT as a theme can be expressed in a multitude of ways: dancing bodies, transitions, movement as journey, political and social movements, twists and turns …

Writers can submit as many poems as they like, but the overall line count must not exceed 30 lines.

Priority for this commission goes to Oldham based writers, as at least half of the zine will be dedicated to poets with a connection to Oldham.

Commissioned writers will be included in the MOVEMENT zine and will have to opportunity to perform their work in Oldham to celebrate Pride this summer.
