Creative writing development organisation Commonword Cultureword has grown from strength to strength since our initial founding in 1975. On 27th May 2025 we relaunch as CULTUREWORD, consolidating all strands of the organisation under one name.
Our new brand identity follows a consultation period with staff, trustees and leading brand agency Koto. The new CULTUREWORD visuals evoke a history of local activism with nods to protest banners and placards.
On our new website you can find a dedicated Showcase page platforming emerging voices from across the North-West, a Writers Gallery and an events listings page.
